Climate Change is melting the ice sheets and threatening your little island village. Manage your town to help it grow and prosper while you watch out for your impact on the environment!

In Arctic, a classic turn-based strategy game you are trying to keep a balance between growth and sustainability as you try to survive on the cold ocean for as long as you can.

The idea is keep your town environmentally friendly in order to grow more ice sheets. When loosing sight of this and building too many damaging buildings, the environment will respond with warming and ice sheets will break away, reducing your land mass more and more.

Move the camera with WASD, rotate with Q/E and zoom using R/T.

This is a demo. 

It was created in a few weeks as part of a university course. The focus is neither narrative, nor graphical nor technical completion but proof of concept. It is being developed further and plans are that it will change significantly over time, improving on the aforementioned aspects.
